Origin and development
The Tavolata was born in 2011 from the vision of establishing a summer highlight in St. Moritz that would bring locals and guests together. Inspired by the Italian tradition of eating together, the concept of a long table in the village center was born - open to everyone, regardless of origin, age or social status. This idea of community and culinary diversity has sustained the Tavolata to this day and makes it a unique experience in the Engadin.
